The inspiration for the work comes from the game of jigsaw puzzle. Here, the image that would be revealed once all the pieces have been put together is a self-portrait of me, and the act of completing the puzzle is essentially the act of looking for one’s self. And yet, even with all the others being in their right place, there is a missing piece, as there will always be one, filled with secrets and mysteries. Attempting to achieve perfection is futile, and so is seeking to fully understand oneself. ​
